South Central Railway has published Supply Of siliconised acrylic water based fire retardant sealent, shall have the following properties: , siliconised acrylic water based fire retardant sealent, shall have the following propertie s: before curing: 1. specific gravity at rt- 1.63 - 1.75 g/cc 2. skin over time (sot) at rt - below 15 m inutes 3. tack free time (tft) at rt # below 30 minutes. after curing: 1. elongation at break # min 8 5% 2. tensile strength at break # min 7.0 kg/cm2 3. hardness (shore a) = 50-70 siliconised acrylic w ater based fire retardant sealent, shall have the following properties: note: 1. the sealant should be supplied in cartridge between 200 to 500 gms. 2. applicator dispenser should be supplied as 01 numb er for every 100 kgs. 3. colour of the sealant: 50% of po quantity colour: blue, and 50% of po quantit y colour : white.
